The Euclid Municipal Court has jurisdiction over all misdemeanor criminal cases originating in the City of Euclid.

Misdemeanor Cases

The Euclid Municipal Court hears criminal cases in which the defendant is charged with misdemeanor charges. To access your case and verify when you are scheduled to appear in court, click here.

All criminal cases, whether issued by warrant, summons or citation, require Defendant to appear in person. If the Defendant fails to appear in court as scheduled a warrant may be issued for their arrest.

Felony Cases

The Euclid Municipal Court has a limited role in felony prosecutions. Some felony cases are initially handled in this Court until a preliminary hearing is held. If probable cause is found, the case will be sent to the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court for final disposition.

Bond Information

  • All bonds must be posted at the Euclid Police Department. Contact the Police Warrant Unit at 216-289-8460 in advance for details.
  • Failure to appear at all required appearances may result in forfeiture of bond in accordance with Ohio Revised Code § 2937.35.

Failure to Appear

Failure to appear in court as required will result in the issuance of a warrant for your arrest and a forfeiture of any bond.
